Periodic Maintenance Schedule (PMS) is designed to ensure optimum performance, durability, and reliability of your car. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the periodic maintenance schedule for the trouble-free operation of the car. The free Service implies zero labor charge during the service of the Car. However, parts & consumables are chargeable.

Value Added Services (VAS) are car renewal and enrichment services to enhance the condition of Honda Car. These services are not a part of periodic maintenance and are not mandatory. These services can be availed as per your choice on a paid basis.

Normal Engine oils are derived from crude oil that are extracted from the ground. Synthetic oil, on the other hand, is manufactured using petroleum products. Synthetic oils have a very low viscosity as compared Normal engine oil. Due to this, Synthetic oil provides Superior Lubrication & Cleaning action. However there is no change in Oil Change Frequency on Using Synthetic Oil.

Oil is a major contributor to your engine’s performance and longevity. If you continue to drive the vehicle with insufficient or deteriorated oil, the engine may fail or get damaged. We recommend using Genuine Honda Motor Oil confirming to Quality Grade API service SM or higher grade Furl Efficient Oil for your Honda car. For more details refer owner's manual

Pick up and drop is an optional service provided by the dealerships. It depends on the availability of Drivers & Proximity. The charges for the same varies as per the distance. You may contact your nearest dealership for necessary assistance on the same.

We would encourage you to return to the same dealer who originally sold the car to you. However, you may visit any dealership of your choice for servicing of Honda car.

Any defects except those mentioned in the exclusion list of the stipulated warranty terms & conditions are covered. For the Parts covered, you will have to bear no cost for part/ Labour under Extended Warranty/ Anytime Warranty The decision of Honda Cars India Ltd. or its dealers regarding the coverage of any part in Extended Warranty/ Anytime Warranty is as per the terms & conditions contained in the Owner's Manual/ warranty booklet /Extended Warranty document. It is advisable to refer to the terms and conditions of the warranty before buying the policy.

All Honda cars are warranted for Defect in Material & workmanship for Warranty period as per the Terms & Conditions. The Repairs/ Replacements for the product defects except the applicable "Limitations" (not covered under warranty) as mentioned in the warranty section of the Owner's Manual are covered. For detailed information, it is advised to refer to the Owner's Manual as provided at the time of new car sale or contact Honda dealer or Honda helpline.

AVN/ Tuners are warranted during standard warranty period against Defect in material & workmanship & are covered by the respective manufacturers warranty . All such cases should be referred to the respective manufacturer by the customer through Honda Authorised dealer. AVN/ Tuners are not covered under Extended Warranty/ Anytime Warranty. (Subject to applicable warranty terms which may be modified without any notice)

Honda car warranty is applicable for the vehicle with standard fitments only.
i) Any alteration in the standard fitments will void the warranty of your car.
ii) Aftermarket CNG fitment will void the warranty of your Car.

Regular scheduled servicing is vital for optimum performance & trouble-free operation of the car. Honda warranty may get impacted if the services are not done as per prescribed schedule. For more detail, please refer warranty section of the Owner's Manual.

Warranty repairs can be performed at any authorized dealership of Honda.

Conversion form Petrol to Hybrid involves major Modification in Electrical, Electronics & Body & is technically not feasible.
Also if done locally may comprise on the safety of Car & its occupants. Hence same is not recommended.

The repairs/ replacement performed on your Honda car under chargeable basis are warranted for 6 months /10K Kms whichever is earlier. In case any problem occurs in the replaced part during the said period the same will be taken care as per Warranty terms & condition.

Honda Extended Warranty/ Anytime Warranty is transferable to the next owner of the car. In fact, you could get a better resale value for the car if it is maintained under the Honda care Extended Warranty/ Anytime Warranty program.

The best time to buy an Extended Warranty is at the time of buying a new car. An Extended Warranty can be bought anytime before the expiry of the standard warranty. For cars with an unlimited KMs standard warranty, an unlimited KMs Extended Warranty can be bought within 300 days from the date of the new car sale. For buying a limited KMs Extended Warranty contact the nearest dealer as your current mileage needs to be checked before issuing the policy. Alternatively, you can buy an Extended Warranty using the Honda CONNECT app.

It can be purchased within 10 Years / 1,20,000 Kms from the date of the new car Sale. The policy can be issued only after a thorough inspection of the car by a Honda authorized dealer.

Car tyres are warranted against defects in material and workmanship (excluding external reasons/ usage wear out) and are covered by the respective tyre manufacturer's warranty within the applicable standard warranty terms of the car.

Tyres are chosen after intensive research for optimum performance of the car. Change in tyres specifications from the prescribed standard fitment may affect the ride comfort, stability, and performance of the car. It may also have an impact on the other components like suspension, brakes etc. Therefore, it is not recommended to carry out any alteration in the standard fitted tyres.

Please refer to the tyre pressure label on the driver doorjamb or refer to the Owner's Manual tyre section for relevant details.

Properly inflated tyres provide the best combination of handling, tread life, and comfort. (Refer to the driver's doorjamb label for tyre pressure.) Every day before you drive, look at each of the tyres. If one tyre looks lower than the others, check the pressure with a tyre pressure gauge and inflate properly. Refer to the Owner's Manual Tyre section for further details.

Wheel alignment refers to the adjustment of the wheel angles with respect to car suspension components in order to achieve a suitable angle at which the tyres make contact with the road. Proper alignment is necessary for even tread wear and precise steering. Uneven tyre wear, changes in your vehicle’s handling, vehicle pulling to one side are indications of improper wheel alignment.

Wheel balancing is a method of correcting weight imbalances in a wheel. Properly balanced wheels are important for driving comfort and long tyre life. Imbalanced wheels can lead to vibration causing driver fatigue, excessive tyre wear, damage to the suspension, and other problems.

The service Life of tyres is dependent on many factors including driving habits, road conditions, vehicle loading, inflation pressure, maintenance history, speed and environmental conditions (even when the tyres are not in use). Hence it is difficult to predict the exact service life of the tyre. Keep your car tyres properly inflated for the best combination of handling, tread life, and comfort. Every day before you drive, look at each of the tyres. If one tyre looks lower thatn the others, check the pressure with a tyre gauge. The battery is warranted against defects in material and workmanship and is covered for 12 months from the Date of Sale. Please refer to the Warranty section of the Owner's Manual for further details.

The charging system indicator comes on when the battery is not being charged. Headlight dimming, weak cranking, and car not starting are also indications of a weak battery. Immediately contact the nearest dealer for necessary inspection/repairs. Refer to Owner's Manual for further details.

Honda has recommended two service providers (Allianz & Europe Assistance) for roadside assistance. You can directly contact them as per your policy for any necessary assistance on the given numbers. Europe Assistance: 1800 103 5130 & Allianz Assistance: 1800 103 3121. Alternately, you can dial Honda121 @ 1800 113 121 and reach roadside assistance through our IVR.

Depending on the type of problem either a mobile technician will be sent to mobilize your vehicle at the roadside or a recovery vehicle will be sent to recover your vehicle to the nearest authorized Honda dealer. The car can also be towed to your preferred dealership as long as it is within the same city limit. Honda roadside assistance will cover the following human error apart from road traffic accidents :
• Battery problems: dead battery
• Fuel problems: Out of fuel, Incorrect fuel, or contaminated fuel
• Key problems: Locked keys, lost keys, or broken vehicle keys
• Tyre problems: Puncture, bolts, or valve-related issues

Customers are entitled to get service under this program as long as the vehicle has broken down or immobilized on a gazetted, bitumen road.

In case the vehicle is non-movable, the same will be taken to the nearest Honda authorized dealer via recovery vehicle.

No, the roadside assistance team will tow your vehicle to the nearest authorized Honda dealership. Due to safety reasons, a duplicate key of your car is not available either with the roadside Assistance / Honda dealerships team. The respective dealership will place the order for the part and assist you further.

Yes, this facility is applicable only if your vehicle has a valid roadside assistance policy at the time of breakdown and if the vehicle is recovered to an authorized Honda dealer by an RSA service provider. The driver and passengers [no of passengers as per legal guidelines] will be provided with one free taxi ride up to 50kms from the breakdown location. Kindly refer to the terms and conditions of the roadside assistance policy.

You can purchase the retail cover from any Honda authorized dealership for any Honda Car. Alternately, It can be purchased from the Honda CONNECT application, from the roadside assistance section.

Roadside assistance services are not covered under insurance, few insurance companies offer roadside assistance as a part or include it at an additional premium in the Policy. The services may differ from Honda RSA policy. Kindly check the details of the same before opting for the same.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)) is a device present in the exhaust system, designed for collecting the Particulate matter (PM) from the exhaust gas, thereby reducing emissions in diesel cars. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) periodically burns off the collected PM at high temperatures.

Particulate Matter (PM) may be accumulated in catalytic converter when the vehicle is driven in the following conditions :
1. Frequent short journey
2. Heavy traffic
3. At a low speed for a long period of time

1. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) indicator blinks/flashing Action required: Drive the vehicle at a speed of 20Kmph or more until the indicator goes off (Drive for 30 minutes approximately)
2. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) light continuously ON Action required: Kindly take the vehicle to the nearest Honda dealer as soon as possible. The vehicle may be towed depending upon the distance traveled after indicator start glowing continuously

The fuel consumption figures mentioned in the brochure are based on a mandatory emission test carried out by a government agency (ARAI) under controlled conditions. The difference in fuel mileage obtained by users may be due to variables such as driving habits, variable road conditions, variable traffic conditions, different loading patterns, ambient conditions,engineering tolerance, etc.

Fuel efficiency is subjected to driving conditions and habits however engineered lubricating properties of synthetic oil have a positive impact on performance.

As an OEM we do not deal with insurance. The decision of Insurance purchase from the dealership is depending on the mutual agreement between the dealership and customer. However, it is mandatory to have third Party Insurance cover as per the motor vehicle Act.

You should not drive the car through a flooded patch of road as it can stall the car. The water level may actually be higher than what is visible. Also, other passing vehicles may splash water onto the car, which can enter the engine of the car through an inlet hose and can cause severe damage to it.

If the water from a flooded road enters the engine room of the car it can cause severe damage to the engine parts viz. connecting rods, cylinder head, pistons, and cylinder block.

The damage can be instantaneous if you attempt to start the car after it has stalled while driving through the water. However, in some cases, it may take up to 4-6 months before the actual damage happens to engine parts.
