EMISSION REGULATION ON BS-VI COMPLIANT VEHICLE “IN-SERVICE COMPLIANCE” (ISC) & “IN-USE PERFORMANCE RATIO” (IUPR)

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), would like to thank and appreciate its customers for their understanding in filling the Government of India (“GOI”) norms for testing.

“Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989, Automotive Industry Standard-137 Part - 3rd of standard (Regulation)” applicable for all BS VI vehicles sold after 1st April 2020, makes it mandatory for all Car manufacturers in India to check emission parameters of being green environment Initiative.

‘Honda Car India Limited’ may get in touch with selected customers through the Honda dealer and would solicit their support in making available their vehicle for following tests:

• Verification of pollutant levels of exhaust gas (ISC)
• Retrieving the emission control related system/component data captured inside vehicle Engine Control Unit (ECU) during the usage (IUPR)
