Designed for young minds, the competition encourages students of Classes 4th & 5th to use their imagination, creativity, innovation and concepts of science in designing the glider in a three-member team. The gliders designed by the teams are flown and the one which flies the farthest, wins the competition.
Throughout the activity, the students implement the concepts of aerodynamics in a fun & exciting way. The competition helps students understand the working of a glider, its constituent parts, and the best ways to optimise the glider’s turns.
The students are divided in teams consisting of three students, each.
Students of 4th & 5th Standard design & build air gliders based on the concepts of Aerodynamics.
