Terms and Conditions for "Win a New Honda Car" Contest
The Great Honda Fest Promotional Offer is valid from 7th Sep, 2009 to 31st Oct, 2009, both days inclusive (hereinafter referred to as the "offer period")
  1. Offer available at all Honda authorized dealerships across India.
  2. Only those people are eligible to participate in this contest, who have purchased a new Honda car after making full payment during the offer period.
  3. The scheme is valid on purchase of all Honda Models – Jazz, City, Civic, Accord and CR-V.
  4. Under the scheme period, one lucky winner every week, selected among the participants on pan India basis will get ex-show room price of the car purchased by him as cash back after tax deduction.
  5.    Apart from a car every week, nine other Honda customers stand a chance to win Honda Accessory packages for the car they have purchased and one winner gets a powerful Honda genset.
  6. Offer valid till stocks last and is strictly governed by the availability of the stocks at the dealership and on first cum first served basis. Cars also available without the scheme.
  7. Employees of Honda Siel Cars India & their family members; employees of Honda dealers and their relatives;  employees of Pugmarks and their relatives, are not eligible to participate in this contest.
  8. To participate in the contest, the following are mandatory:            
    1. Participant needs to buy a Honda car covered under the Scheme during the offer period.
    2. Participant should get a confirmed and authentic dealer invoice as evidence of full payment and car being sold.
    3. The customers are advised and required to visit our website www.hondacarindia.com to :
      1. To Check the time limit for participating in the contest.
      2. To fill the required details within the time period  specified on the website.
      3. Any entry received after the due mentioned date will be considered null and void.
    4. It is mandatory to fill in all the details related to your car, as per your Dealer Invoice.
    5. Answer the questions given in the contest form correctly.
  9. A participant who cancels his booking or returns the car already sold after participating in the contest is not eligible to win the prize even if he is selected for the prize. In such as case, another participant would be selected from the same sample.
  10. Incomplete entries will not be entertained and will be considered disqualified.
  11. Each entry form shall be recognized by its Dealer invoice number, which cannot be used for duplicate and multiple entries.
  12. The Company will not charge any separate entry fee on the Net for taking part in this Offer.
  13. The selection and announcement of winners will be on weekly basis and winners would be announced on the web site during the time mentioned on website www.hondacarindia.com
  14. The set of entries once considered for the lucky draw will not be considered again for subsequent weeks.
  15. The weekly Grand Prize will be awarded in the form of "cash back" of the ex-showroom price of the car in the city in which it has been purchased. The prize will be made available to the winner with standard equipment and parts only and accessories will not form a part of it.
  16. The promotion also includes nine other prizes in the form of attractive Accessory packages for their Honda car.
  17. All prizes are subject to applicable taxes and in compliance with the prevailing laws and regulations. Any levies & taxes, as applicable, shall be borne by the winner(s) only.
  18. The participants must retain the original dealer invoice as that would be required for verification after the lucky draw, without which the company is not liable to hand over the prize to the winner.
  19. The selection of winners will be through random computer selection out of all the correct entries received for the specified week.
  20. Decision of Company will be final and binding regarding this Offer and prizes.
  21. Company, reserves the right to, terminate, modify or extend this Offer, at any time at its absolute discretion, without assigning any reason.
  22. The Company shall not be responsible for loss of data during non connectivity or while punching in the unique Dealer Invoice number. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt of the entry. No screenshots, printouts would be entertained.
  23. The Company shall not be held responsible if for any reason, the form duly filled by participants does not reach their database.
  24. The Company shall not in any way be liable for any disruption or disconnection in the broadband connectivity and all such disputes shall lie with the telecom service provider and not with the Company.
  25. All Prizes are non-transferable, non–substitutable.
  26. Company reserves the right to check all original dealer invoices and personal detail information for their authenticity and reject them if not found genuine.
  27. All promotional materials, including details on how to enter and claim prizes are part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry to this Offer.
  28. Participation in the contest confirms acceptance of the Terms and Conditions governing this Offer.
  29. This offer is being made purely on a "best effort" basis and is subject to "force majeure" conditions, including acts of God, strikes, war, riots, change of law, statutory prohibitions / restrictions. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other Offer/ Scheme.
  30. The backend database accumulation in relation to this offer is being managed by Pugmarks Interweb services under the supervision of Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. Pugmarks Interweb services  is engaged in the business of providing online assistance to Honda Siel Cars India Ltd.
  31. Any dispute whatsoever arising under or in connection with the abovesaid contest shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and all proceedings shall be conducted in English only. The place of Arbitration shall be New Delhi only.
  32. The courts of New Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to try and entertain the dispute between the parties.
 
Winners Section
Honda Siel cars India Ltd shall inform the winners of the weekly draw by calling them up on the same mobile or landline number through which the participation was done, and verify details of the dealer invoice no. and the personal information given in the form.
In the same call, Honda Siel Cars India Ltd shall also inform winners about the Prize won by them and amount of Income Tax to be deducted at source thereon and also about the place where he would be required to collect the prize from.

1. Winner needs to carry the following with him at the time of collection of the prize: 
     a. Original dealer invoice copy for physical authentication/ verification.
     b. Self attested copy of following documents for the purpose of taxation and legal validation:
         (i) Income Tax Permanent Account number copy (ii) Photo Identity proof (iii) Address proof
         (iv)   Bank account details (v) Any other document as may be required.

2. Taxes on prizes as per prevailing laws and regulations will be applicable and the tax amount will be deducted at source and shall have to be borne by the winners.

3. Honda shall inform the winners about the amount of income tax to be deducted at source.

4. Cheque money handed over by Honda Siel cars India ltd. will be after deducting the tax at source and The
Tax Paid certificate as proof of Tax deduction will be sent to the winners by courier within 180 days of the handing over the prize cheque.

5. Winner has to submit the TDS cheque in favour of HSCI within 30 days from date of announcement of prize otherwise HSCI is not liable to pay the prize money.
