The City ZX's fuel tank is located in the middle of the vehicle, under the front seat. This is an additional safety measure because this point is located at the greatest distance from both front and rear impact in case of a collision. Thus, the space beneath the front seats is actually the safest area in the entire vehicle.

4 Cross members surround the fuel tank to protect it from all directions. In this way, the fuel tank is shielded by a cross frame, improved body stiffness and stable body motion while driving. Central fuel tank layout makes the cross shaped floor tunnel structure which increases rigidity. Through increased body rigidity and a new body structure, bending rigidity and torsional rigidity are enhanced. This improves turning performance and helps stable driving even at high speeds.
