At Honda, we believe that maintaining a healthy world for future generations is
a fundamental responsibility of our industry. Which is why the Honda legacy and
tradition of making the world's most powerful, fuel-efficient and cleanest burning
engines continues in India with the Honda City ZX. Its Hyper-16 valve and VTEC engines
and programmed fuel injection burns the petrol and air mixture so completely that
while its power is the highest, its emissions are the lowest.
Cleaner Air
The programmed fuel injection system (PGM-Fi) not only meticulously monitors the
combustion process of the City ZX for the most efficient use of fuel but together
with the exhaust catalyzer, also ensures that environmentally harmful emissions
are kept to a minimum.
The HFC 134a refrigerant used in the air conditioning system does not adversely
affect the world's ozone layer. Moreover, no asbestos is used in the composition
of the pads and lining of the disc and drum brakes, the clutch plate, or the gaskets
found in the City ZX.
Recycling
The separation of materials used in the construction of the
Honda City ZX has been greatly simplified and all plastic parts are coded
to facilitate the recycling process and minimize waste, efficiently utilizing and
protecting the world's natural resources.
Engine ancillaries such as the timing belt cover, air cleaner case, and resonator
chamber are all produced from recyclable materials. The use of Olefin material in
the frame has been expanded, and all components weighing more than 100 grams are
stamped with a recognition code.
The Honda City ZX is Euro III compliant and meets the Bharat Stage
- III norms.
