The rubber used in non-genuine wipers is often synthetic and too hard, leading to an irregular rhythm. Honda wipers use 100% natural rubber that has the right degree of softness, leading to smooth and regular wiping action. The blade tips of non-genuine wipers are rounded, compromising on their performance. However, the Honda wiper has a very sharp tip that improves wiping performance and provides clearer visibility.

There is a difference in the way the Honda wipers stick to the windshield glass on the driver's side and the co-driver's side. The bending ratio in these wipers has been designed to match both these extremes, resulting in better wiping action.
