Honda City ZX comes
with an
Electric Power Steering (EPS). At low speeds, steering
is easy, requiring little effort. However, steering is heavier at high speeds, providing
a firm and secure grip for safety.
Power assistance for the rack and pinion steering system is from an electric motor
- a move that reduces power loss - as conventional power-assistance energizers are
parasitic, i.e., they are driven by the engine. This contributes to
fuel economy by using less power. Moreover,
along with a tight turning radius of just 4.9 meters, the
EPS offers stress-free and hassle-free maneuverability
on congested city roads and in tight parking spaces.
